All funding will go towards the betterment and mission of the Murphysburg Residential District, Inc. Our mission is, “To promote, educate and preserve the integrity of historic properties throughout the Murphysburg District and Joplin.”
Our vision is to help the people who live and visit our community understand how history shapes, inspires, and informs the present. To help the District remain a historic community that is beautiful, inviting, inclusive and safe for our neighbors to live and visitors to explore.
Our volunteers work towards:

- City officials and law enforcement cooperation and partnerships,
- Helping the districts streets and sidewalks are safe for public and private use,
- Helping homeowners improve security and safety,
- Retaining or increasing historic property values to preserve the communities heritage for generations to come.
